Happy Friday! Trying a new brew tonight from the makers of Brother Thelonious , North Coast Brewing Company in California. I'm enjoying their Acme IPA . It's very nice, smooth. Doesn't have a huge hop aroma or taste, but still lots of flavor. I must admit I did have a Chimay prior to the Acme IPA, so hopefully it's not influencing my taste buds too much. This week the Dave Matthews Band released their latest album title " Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King " -- an homage to LeRoi Moore whose nickname was Groogrux. The long awaited release is set to drop June 2. Earlier tonight the jukebox made a segue way from The Police to the theme from "The Magnificent Seven." You truly never know what you're going to get! It’s hard keeping up with the blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn… and oh yeah, I’ve been meaning to make some more YouTube videos. I’m stretched too thin I tell ya! I feel like I need an assistant just to make my updates on all the various social network outlets. For awhile I thought I had it pegged. I used Twitter to make quick updates throughout the week and then pulled them together for a longer weekend post on the blog. Then Facebook came along and that takes time away from everything else. Facebook makes it easy to stay in touch with your peops, upload pictures, etc. But now, granted if I have time, feels like I’m posting the same things on Twitter as Facebook. And it’s not like I have anything truly worthy to say that needs posting in multiple places. Lately, I haven’t done much in the way of Twitter and blog posts, and only used Twitter to see what’s going on with the celebs. I’m thinking I need to make a plan of what kinds of posts I want to make, and then post them in the appro...

Friday night is here and here's a toast for y'all... Salud! Well, found out who my new boss is this week. Jimmy Joe Pete and I will be reporting to the VP of Advanced Advertising. We've worked with him in the past and will start our transition next week. Last night was super cold here, but the warm air has started to move back in. Hit upper 50s today and Sunday projecting 70! Looking forward to a nice warm weather run in the park this weekend. Also need to get the grill's propane tank refilled. Tonight I installed my Apple AirTunes. I've been wanting to play all my iTunes tracks that are saved on my computer on my stereo which is downstairs without first having to transfer them to my iPod or burn them to CD. Picked up the Apple Airport Express tonight and got it running in about an hour. I had read that they were infamously hard to connect via the PC, but really wasn't too bad. I imagine you've heard the news about Time Warner Cable today... Time Warner Cable to lay off 1,250 . I'm OK so far, but they laid off my boss and still don't know who I'll be reporting to going forward. I'll keep you posted, but at least our job cuts are small compared to some of the others that were announced the last few weeks.
