It has to be at least 15 years since I had one of these. Very smooth and you can never go wrong with the "widget" -- makes it taste as if it was poured from the tap. Looks to be great weather for the Quail Hollow Golf Championship in town this weekend. I attended a couple times in past years, but looking forward to kicking back and catching some of it on the tube. Speaking of kicking back, Michele borrowed my copy of Bret Easton Ellis' " The Rules of Attraction " last night, and she was able to spend a good deal of the afternoon engrossed in its pages. Happy Friday to y'all! Tonight I'm keeping it simple and enjoying a Lagunitas IPA . Well, simple for me as its their year-round offering and not a seasonal release, an imperial or a double. Just a plain ol' good and hoppy IPA from Petaluma, Calif. I celebrated my 44th year last week with a trip up north to see family and friends. I didn't have anything special planned, but spending time with everyone was special enough. So I bet you're wondering who this "southern girl" is I mentioned in the headline. Hit well over 80 degrees here today and my car temp actually read 90! Looks like great weather through the weekend and into next week.
