Harvest Ale and Lost Money Found

Good evening, Friday!

It's the end of a fine October day when Sierra Nevada's Northern Hemisphere Harvest arrives! I look forward to it every year and it never disappoints.

"Wow, have you ever tasted a hopped ale so smooth, mama mia!"

The Woodside Halloween Mix is spinning on The Woodside LIVE page tonight. With only one more weekend to go before Halloween, will leave it going continuously throughout this weekend and the next.

Last year's Woodside Halloween Mix, saw a full CDs-worth of new tracks added.

There have been some additions to the mix this year, but there has yet to be a set line up of new tracks. You'll just have to listen in.

In Other News...
Have you seen those links on the Web with information about finding out if you have unclaimed money in any of our 50 states? So one day I did some clicking around and discovered I had some money in PA, an insurance premium refund, that I didn't know about.

I found out it was under $100, so my expectations were tempered. I filled out the required form and mailed it in. This was back in the early part of the summer, so I kind of forgot about it. Then about a week ago I finally heard that I would be getting a check for the money owed me. Yesterday a check arrived from the State of PA for $26. Hey, it's $26 I didn't have the day before, and that can buy a few beers, or a nice meal, or a Blu-Ray DVD, what have you...

I deposited it in my account via ATM - can I say how much I like the new ATMs that will take a deposit sans envelope, very nice!

The Long Road: A Music Lover's Concert History

UPDATED - Sept. 29, 2025 I've been doing some extensive research lately, compiling all the concerts and music artists I've seen since over my lifetime. Maybe a little nutty, but what a long, great trip it's been. So many amazing memories, I should really do some in-depth posts about the times and places, but for now just wanted to get the entire history together and sorted all in one place. I'm actually thinking of building a web app/site to do this that's better than what's out there, if even for myself. What's funny is the memories I've run across. I also found that social media is good for helping track down and determine certain event dates in my timeline, or to rule out a date because I was out of town or doing something else.
