On Tap... Literally

Preparations have begun for New Year's Eve here at The Woodside and there's nothing like a nice, cold Heiny fresh from the tap! As you can see in the photo there's another Heiny Draught Keg on deck as New Year's is still a few days away. The Monkey Clan heads south tomorrow, or as The Beasties say "No Sleep 'Til Woodside!" The Monkey is in the Boo-Yah Championship this weekend and we'll also be part of the small crowd checking out the afternoon tip off New Year's Eve between the Bobcats and the Pacers, so plenty of excitement... on tap.

On a different note... listening to Oscar Peterson on the jukebox in remembrance of the legendary jazz pianist who passed away recently. Thanks Oscar, you'll be missed.

The Long Road: A Music Lover's Concert History

UPDATED - Sept. 29, 2025 I've been doing some extensive research lately, compiling all the concerts and music artists I've seen since over my lifetime. Maybe a little nutty, but what a long, great trip it's been. So many amazing memories, I should really do some in-depth posts about the times and places, but for now just wanted to get the entire history together and sorted all in one place. I'm actually thinking of building a web app/site to do this that's better than what's out there, if even for myself. What's funny is the memories I've run across. I also found that social media is good for helping track down and determine certain event dates in my timeline, or to rule out a date because I was out of town or doing something else.
