Strange Good Friday Cocktail

On this Good Friday evening my beverage of choice, a Victory Prima Pils, is coupled with some Icy Hot. Please note the Icy Hot is not for drinking, but for my left calf muscle that I strained a little bit yesterday on my run.

I only managed to get 3 miles in before I had to quit. Looks like I'll have to lay off for awhile to give it a chance to rest up. Even though I won't be able to get some miles in, I still need to cut the grass tomorrow and spread some fertilizer & seed. At least it's supposed to be nice here with temps in the 70s.

Sorry I don't have any guitar updates this week, I was working on some chords this evening but nothing worth recording.

I will mention that I did get all my music back onto the iPod and The Woodside jukebox is back up and kickin' this evening! Derek Trucks' sunset-rippling "This Sky" just came on as dusk descended upon The Woodside. Reminds me that I only found out a few weeks ago that Derek Trucks is married to Susan Tedeschi, quite a double bill. They should go on tour with Elvis Costello and his wife Diana Krall, now that would be a show.

The Long Road: A Music Lover's Concert History

UPDATED - Sept. 29, 2025 I've been doing some extensive research lately, compiling all the concerts and music artists I've seen since over my lifetime. Maybe a little nutty, but what a long, great trip it's been. So many amazing memories, I should really do some in-depth posts about the times and places, but for now just wanted to get the entire history together and sorted all in one place. I'm actually thinking of building a web app/site to do this that's better than what's out there, if even for myself. What's funny is the memories I've run across.
